About Warpriest: a drafting office for curved paths

Warpriest is an independent office. We write field guides, build small simulators and draw figures that show their reasoning instead of asking for trust.

Why the name

Near a large mass, a free path stops being straight. The line bends, and that bend is the subject of this office. Warp is our short word for the bending.

Priest describes how we work. A priest keeps one rite and repeats it with the same care every time. We draw an orbit again and again until the figure reads cleanly, and we would rather redraw a figure than explain away a bad one.

Who it is for

  • Students who find the textbook diagram too small to think with.
  • Teachers who want a figure they can project and then explain line by line.
  • Curious adults who would rather check a claim with a drawing and a slider than take it on trust.

How we write

We use short sentences and name every assumption. We prefer a labelled sketch to a clever phrase. When we are unsure, the page says so. When a model simplifies, the page says what it leaves out.

What we will not publish

No prices, forecasts or personal advice. No testimonials, awards or client logos, because this site shows none. No claims about real missions or real measurements, because the orbit lab works in model units and says so on the page.

Our guides explain general principles. They are not a substitute for course material, an engineering calculation or a professional opinion.

Privacy by construction

This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other servers. The orbit lab runs entirely in your browser, and there are no accounts to create.
